Wow, do you make all of this stuff? The bears and slippers are fabulous.

I've been meaning to pop over and say hi to you. Short of time these last two weeks so forgive my tardiness.

I have no kind of talent for making things so I am in awe of people that have these skills and gifts. I learned to knit at school but that was the last time I did it.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you MOB - and yes - I make all of this stuff.....if you missed the post about it - I am doing Xmas Craft Sales this year with my brother who is a potter...
Eventually I will set up a website where they will be for sale...

I will be switching gears in this blog after this - so stay tuned!

The selling website seems a good idea Aims - your teddy bears would go down a treat, I should think. As would your delightful slippers.

I fear that my husband and sons would draw the line at decorative socks however - which sets me wondering what kind of a man it would be, who would not ....? (Draw the line, that is.)

I'm sure you must have discovered this for yourself, and will be able to tell me. Not that there's any reason in the world why men should NOT wear decorative socks of course - it's just that I know my lot, at any rate, would protest.

I would wear them gladly myself, of course - if only I had the shoes to accommodate them!

Perhaps Frances' boat shoes would fit them dear B?

The men's socks seem to be the thing for the winter sports over here in Canada - they'll wear anything warm for that...and it seems the brighter they look - the better....all that apres skiing I guess...

Yes of course, Aims - skiing! Of course they would be worn there! I hadn't thought of that - there not being a whole lot of skiing going on in Kingston, Surrey, UK...

I see the men's socks go round in the opposite direction to the women's socks Aims. Are you sure you are not going for the Turner Prize and not just knitting? They look lovely and warm, modern art or not, anyway

Rilly!! You're back!!

I think the photographer (the man) commented on that too when I was setting them up - "they're going the opposite way" -

and me - "no-one will notice".....

Right.

Thanks for stopping by Rilly!
