Waiting Patiently

I think today makes six days straight that we have had snow.

Some days it is just little flecks constantly falling past my window – other days it’s those big soft ones that make you want to catch them on your tongue.

No matter how it comes out of the sky – it is getting exhausting.

I took these pictures of our deck and the surrounding trees two days ago. The depth of snow has risen another half inch at least since then. Have a look.

I’m sure you can see why I am patiently waiting for Spring. Almost like waiting for Godot……

So I made this cute little bracelet that makes me think of Spring bonnets and Easter parades…..

that bracelet is definitely a good antidote to this return of winter in my city and the never-ending winter in yours

That bracelet contains all the colours that I adore.
Beautiful.

There is still a lot of snow over your way. I can imagine that you are heartily fed up with it. When it arrives Summer will be short. Hope it comes soon.

Hope the snow melts soon and that you'll be outdoors enjoying warmer, lovelier weather.

I also love the colors in that bracelet.

How are you doing after having surgery? I hope all went well, and that your recovery is swift.

Aww... lovely bracelet. Spring has arrived here in London. The last two days have been blue sky, wall-to-wall sunshine and so warm everyone has been out in their summer clothes. Mind you, this is England..........you never know, we could get snow again next week!

Dear dog! I'd loathe your winter! I won't tell you how warm and sunny it is today.

I can't imagine what it would be like with so much snow for so long. I would become very disheartened. I hope it melts soon.

Snow here this morning as well. And as much as I truly love winter, I really would like to be done with snow this season!

Loverly bracelets!

Another beautiful piece, dear Aims. 6 days of snow - that's just rotten. I feel guilty about today's 21C here, but it is due to pour with rain tomorrow.

All the snow should make for good river levels over the rafting season. Sending warm huggles, Mickle and a purring Zeb (a pleasant change from his snoring)

Hia Aims I see you have been busy! I'm now back in the UK. The bracelet is lovely full of Spring skies and blossom. I think it might actually be the start of Spring here as I can see blossom.
