When I was growing up my parents told me that they beat me because they loved me. This is a true story about a life of abuse – both physical and mental – and my long journey to find ‘true love’.
I'm so sorry to hear about the death of Dolly, aims. I am shedding a tear or 2, as I type this comment and I am thinking of you, at this sad time.
Aims, sorry to hear about Dolly, you must be very sad. I have a wonderful cat called Zena, and I will miss her terribly when that awful day comes.

Aims... I am speechless and so sorry. I had hoped this was just the beginning and you could enjoy a few more years with her yet. I know what it is like to lose a much-loved pet and nothing can replace her, just like it can't replace the loss of a human family member. All I can wish is that, for Dolly, she is no longer suffering. My thoughts are with you at this sad time.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown... :-Daryl
Aims, I'm so sorry to hear your news....sending you lots of love xxx
Deep sympathy and condolences aims.
I am so sorry for your loss! I know the heartache. Two years ago we lost our 'original' Border Collie at 14 yrs, last year her "daughter", and fear the "grandson" will not see his way into another Spring...they are our family and have been embedded in our hearts. We still grieve. My heart goes out to you.
Oh, aims. I am so dreadfully sorry. This must be horrendous for you.Big hugs, sweetie.
