When I was growing up my parents told me that they beat me because they loved me. This is a true story about a life of abuse – both physical and mental – and my long journey to find ‘true love’.

My World Today
May 29, 2010 – somewhere in central Alberta, Canada
Aims, I am sitting by the fire as I am freezing.....our power has been off for a couple of hours, we are having wet snow/rain.....hard to believe this weather isn't it. Stay well and warm my friend..Hugs
That's awful, Aims. You shouldn't be living in that climate. That's just plain cruel. I'm sure only eskimos are supposed to live there/ Get thee to New Orleans, girl.

Nuts in May
No I don't, though it's very cold and very windy here today. Surely that's not snow.... in May?! Even for Canada that must be unusual.

So the lads didn't set out from Otterville for a paddle over the weekend, then?
We had really grotty winter weather here, is unfair that you got it too, especially in late May!!!
Huggles from me, "I'm staying under my quilt, thank you" moans and muttering from Zebbycat, xxx
NO! But then, it's raining here and the furnace is on! *sigh* :(
You had SNOW??? Wow - it never shows here in May/June. Pretty, tho.
Brrrr! We're lurching between glorious sunshine with the next day pouring down with rain and a cold wind.
That looks so cold
